I bought this refrigerator on recommendation from salesperson at Lowe's , so happy did. This is best refrigerator ever. So quiet compared to old refrigerator, keeps everything cold and fruits and vegetables in crisper drawer, stay fresh and last longer.

I love the fact that I can easily reach everything. The height is perfect! I am short and I have cabinets, so I needed a lower refrigerator. The refrigerator is deep so I can store a lot of stuff.. I like the soda can or snack draw. I also really like the lower freezer. I wish the water dispenser had a cup shelf and ice dispenser. I like the large vegetable draws and large door shelves. The freezer draws are nice and deep.

I was very excited to try out the new Samsung French Door refrigerator. Delivery was delayed for months but I assumed it would be worth the wait. The refrigerator finally arrived and it was covered in dents from the shipping company. I contacted Samsung about getting a replacement or at least new doors, as that was where most of the damage is. Samsung sent the work order to a subcontractor...3 months ago. Today I received an email stating that Samsung hadn't provided the parts and so now I was being referred back to Samsung. As far as the refrigerator itself, it's stylish and the finish is very pretty. The pull out freezer compartment is very handy and much easier to use than the standard top freezer compartment. The refrigerator is roomy, but the shelves that are included aren't practical. You have the option to have 2 full shelves (which limits where tall items like a 2 liter soda bottle can go) or a single shelf with a huge space left that doesn't allow efficient space utilization. I purchased a standing shelf for the refrigerator, but it would make more sense if Samsung allowed for greater options for vertical shelf placement. The refrigerator has easy to access controls for setting the temperature of the compartments without having to reach all the way in the back of the unit. There is also an alarm that sounds if the door is left open...this is good sometimes but also annoying if you are cleaning out the fridge. All in all I'd say it's esthetically pleasing and has convenient features, but there is room for improvement.

i've seen a lot of reviews complaining about the water dispenser. i got a great deal so purchased without research. we set it up and made sure it was level. the only issue was it was leaking at first. read through support where it said to give it 24 hours and it should stop. i don't think it even took 12. i use the water dispenser daily a few times a day. the four stars is because the shelves in the refrigerator don't allow for tall items anywhere. i could move one shelf up or down, but then would have a shelf only for very short items. tall items do fit in the doors. i am not used to the big drawer freezer and have mixed feelings about it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
