this is a terrible product. we bought this washing machine oct of 2020. within a months it started making a loud rattling noise - so we closed the door when we were washing clothes. in jan of 2022 the noise was so loud that it was intolerable. samsung multiple sent repairman. he indicated the bearing unit for the spin basked needed to be replaced - but no parts available and unclear when they would be available. samsung said out of warranty and nothing they could do. we had the unit only for 1.5 years. unbelievable that this is par for the course. samsung used to stand for quality - but that is no longer the case. we are not going to buy samsung products any more. we are replacing the unit with a maytag washer.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

i purchased two washer/dryer sets directly from samsung. the first set was dropped off wrapped in cardboard so after the delivery people left we opened them to find the washer had a huge dent on side. they gave me a 75.00 refund! i wanted a replacement ! can not get them to replace this unit even after making about 100 phone calls etc. the second unit was delivered to my other residence and the washer door was also broken!!! total disapointment. disputed this on my credit card...

Love the vibration reduction feature as you can barely tell its running, only con is the alarm sound.

Poor design cheap materials Beware of Samsung Their warranty process is horrible The machine sells $699+ tax delivery and haul away excluded from this price. They are forcing you for $611 for a product that is under warranty. Warranty process takes 20 days. In my case I received text from Samsung my replacement arrived at the warehouse but then Samsung diverted to make payment for a lesser amount. That too shows how they do business

This is our second Samsung washer and I could not be more happy with it! The first washer worked just fine, we only got a new one because we needed a new dryer so we got a matching set.

Gets the job done, but not as sturdy a build as older models. Door and soap drawers are both light plastic when older models have much more solid builds. On the plus side, clothes get noticeably clean. I'm just not sure if it is built to last.
