We were excited to purchase this dishwasher and we couldn't wait to try it out. There are many things we like about the dishwasher. It is very sleek-looking and the stainless makes it look more expensive than it is. We like that it has three drawers and that the top one is removable. Also, the movable silverware holder is a plus. Being able to personalize where you want it in the bottom drawer is very helpful. The dishwasher gets the dishes extremely clean and it has several different washing cycles and options. Now for the things we don't like: 1.) The outside door always looks dirty. It smudges easy and is difficult to get the smudges off. 2.) The bottom shelf is great for loading plates but doesn't leave room for bigger pots and pans or skillets. They don't fit due to the way the posts are so close together. We end up having to put them on the upper shelf and that takes up all the room. It is a serious design flaw. 3.) There isn't a rinse only option 4.) Lastly , and this is a big one, our dishes on the upper shelf don't dry. They are completely soaked. We have to hand dry all of our cups and bowls. I have tried loading the dishes in multiple ways and have run it with only a few dishes and also full. The upper levels always ended up wet after a full cycle. I really wanted to love this dishwasher and recommend it to everyone, but I just can't due to the issues we encountered. It really does a great job of removing all food and stuck on food remnants, but beyond that there is not a lot I can praise, unfortunately. *I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion*

The worst. HEAT CYCLE DOESN'T WORK, DISHES SOAKING WET. MY OLD DISHWASHER DID A BETTER JOB OF DRYING WITHOUT THE HEAT CYCLE ON. LIGHTS ACTIVATE ON THEIR OWN, EVERYTHING TASTES LIKE SOAP. IF THIS IS YOUR ONLY OPTION WASH YOUR OWN DISHES. SILVERWARE PRESENTLY DRYING IN THE SUN OUTSIDE.

I bought this dishwasher at Lowes on October 2, 2018. It's less than 2 years old, but both upper and lower racks now have at least one rusty and broken places. US Warranty says racks are warranted for 5 years. Called customer support, and they created a ticket. Samsung service called today and said labor cost is at least $200, and parts were extra! I think I am better off buying a new one, and of course I am not going to buy Samsung again.

So many things...where to start? Glass don't fit on the top rack, so you have to put them below with the plates. It will break 3 times in the first year you have it. Cycle times are wasteful and take forever.

I, and countless others, purchased this product about 18 months ago. There is a problem with the control panel that Samsung has not addressed. The dishwasher will not turn on and the part to fix it, if you can find it in stock anywhere, is $200. Samsung is not offering any kind of warranty extension despite the many thousands of customers that have had problems. There are over 550 unique posts in the forum about this very issue. There is also a common problem with the leak detection sensor that is less expensive to fix, but a major headache that involves pulling the machine out and tipping it on its side. I would not buy another Samsung appliance.

had this one year and now it won't run. The code shows leak detection but I can't find out how to get the switch out. you would think they would post a link on how to do this if they build such a crappy product

Bought this dishwasher in May. Had a few times when the water didn't completely drain, but now we have a serviceman coming out to look at it. The Samsung Representative was very kind and good at their job, but it sounds like the main PBA (Power Board Assembly) is out. By reading other reviews this is somewhat common. I am still under warranty so that is good but wondering if it is going to lead to more issues that others are having. When looking into dishwashers I didn't come across many low marks for this dishwasher but it appears that is changing which is unfortunate.

Unit is leaking from outside due to manufacturer defect the first week of use. Called a plumber out because downstairs neighbor complaining of leak and sent a video of the problem to Samsung. 5 days later, they tell me they will not replace a defective unit only repair it when it is obvious from the video I sent that it is irreparable. I own several Samsung appliances and TV's but will never purchase from Samsung again.

I really wanted to love this dishwasher. I plan on selling my house in the next two years so when my low end Frigidaire dishwasher decided to quit I really only wanted to replace it. However supply issues due to the Covid pandemic made that impossible. The only dishwasher that was available to me inventory was this Samsung. I had not planned on spending $700 but was desperate because it was two weeks before Christmas. After three months I can say this dishwasher does not clean as good as the low end Frigidaire. The Koreans should consult with more women on their design. The loading is awkward, dishes overlap and consequent we do not get clean. Neither does the silverware. My daughter has the same dishwasher and she has the same complaints. And oh, by the way you have to add a rinse aid in order for everything to try completely.
