1 Having serious buyer's remorse!

I purchased this dishwasher in September and had it delivered in December, installed in February and first used in March. If only I could return it, I would! Usually Samsung has good products but this one must have gotten its sticker on it as it was rushed to not miss the boat. My dishes do not fit in the first rack. My cutlery slides through the holes in their rack. What others say about accidentally brushing up against the front panel is spot on! WHY is there no way to stop and restart the thing in the same place?? So much for energy efficiency! And for quiet? HA! this thing makes some really weird and NOT quiet noises. I'd love to exchange it for a different one...

1 Beware ham radio operators

Not happy with our purchase of this dishwasher at all. I’m a ham radio operator and every time I use my ham radio the dishwasher beeps turns off amd on ect. It eventually locks it up and have to turn the breaker off to let the dishwasher reset. It gets very old having to do this every time I use my ham radio the washer has very poor filtering on the electronic part of it and allows the rf signal from my radio to get into the washer amd cause huge headaches.

5 Thorough, Quiet

First off, this is a gorgeous machine. The stainless steel is super sleek so it will go with just about any other appliance color you might already have. I have a black stainless steel Samsung refrigerator and this looks great with it. The design of this model is gorgeous! Next, the noise this machine produces is little to nothing. It's not loud at all... 51 decibels to be exact. The Whisper Quiet Cleaning feature is so quiet, you can run a cycle anytime without disturbing your household. The most you'll hear out of it is a low hum. One time when it was running, I actually thought the hum was just a faint sound carried by the wind from my neighbor's backyard music. It's quite comforting - if I could take a nap next to it, I'd be lulled to sleep for sure! Moving on, the organization this dishwasher provides is "top shelf." I simply LOVE the 3rd rack that's located inside the very top of the unit. It's almost hidden but provides the perfect secure location for those hard-to-place utensils like grill forks, rolling pins, etc. The middle rack is also amazing because you can adjust it up to 2" upward so that you can fit big items in the bottom rack, like stew pots, cutting boards, etc. The utensil tray is handy because you can take it out which provides easy unload of your forks and spoons! They're separated to provide better clean for each and every tool. Now, on to the less than desirable issues I've experienced with this dishwasher. I've noticed that the dishes aren't getting dry when using the associated setting. Of course, I don't expect them to be 100% completely damp-free, but every time I use this setting, the dishes (no matter how long I leave them in the dishwasher) are always still spotted with water... so much so that most of the time I'm left to drying them lightly with a cup towel before putting them away. I've also noticed that the water at the bottom of the dishwasher isn't completely draining out. On top of that, when I open the door for the first time after a wash, there is still about 1/4" of water that's collected in the divet of the door (which you have to reclose the door and sort of swoosh it out, or just sop up with a towel, or ignore!) and in the bottom of the unit. My last point to mention is that several times after using, the dishes come out with a feeling that there's still soap on them. Now, we're not talking suds, but definitely a light film of soap residual. Overall though, I'd buy this again and totally recommend it to anyone who's looking for a nice dishwasher! #SamsungDishwashInsider

2 Awful dishwasher

I bought this when I moved into my new home is all the appliances needed to be replaced. The dishwasher is cheaply made. The housing is plastic and floppy. It doesn't seem to wash the dishes very well, nor drain very well. The buttons are super sensitive and everybody accidentally turns it on and off when standing at the counter. If you turn it off mid cycle you have to start the cycle over again and waste all that energy and water. The cycles seemed to last forever. Don't put it on auto! It will run for hours. It says it's detecting how dirty it is and then it'll choose the right setting. My dishes only go into the machine after being rinse clean of any particle, so I don't know how it's registering they're that dirty. As someone else mentioned the silverware holder is terrible I have to put all my silverware in upside down because the handles go straight through and interfere with rolling the rack out. The last 6 months I keep getting error messages that there's a leak. The dishwasher would drain all the water and make a dinging sound and Flash endlessly and I had no idea what was wrong with it. Thank goodness for Google ! It turns out that was an error message indicating a leak. I found that the nut and bolt holding on the top rack was loose and causing a leak. I fixed that and it loosened up again a few weeks later. I added a lock nut and so far so good, it seems to be holding. Now it seems that there's a new leak. This time, i think it is coming from the door gasket. It doesn't look like it fully covers the door and frame and has a possibility to allow for water to come out of the bottom left-hand side. So, I'm going to try to replace that and see if that helps with the problem. The top rack was nice when my granddaughter was over and I'd have to wash her little baby dishes. But, it never seemed to roll smoothly so I just removed it and it lives in the garage now. Overall, I think this is a bad purchase. It seems an excessive amount of money for a mediocre dishwasher. If I were you, I'd keep looking this is not a good dishwasher. As soon as I can, I'll be replacing this with something else.I absolutely would not recommend this dishwasher

2 Beautiful unit but cladden with annoyances

I have had this dishwasher for two months now. Although a beautiful unit and convenient features, there's also annoyances that outweigh these two things. PROs: third rack cleaning tier for cutlery and small items, adjustable mid tier for bigger items on bottom, very quiet washing cycles, sleek design and look, steel interior. CON's: the heat dry leaves all my dishes still wet, so towel drying every load is a must and is such a hassle. There's no option to just heat dry again without running a whole new cycle so you just have to live with drying every dish or damaging your cabinets with wet dishes. the third rack is great in concept but no water actually reaches that high up if the dishwasher is full, so it's constantly dirty and stuff placed there goes through a couple cycles before clean. The touch screen is constantly bumped by guests just leaning on the counter or placing their hands dangled over the counter. There is no way to lock the touch screen without the dishwasher actually running so it's constantly being turned on and off and on and off. While the actual washing is very quiet, the drying cycle emits a loud hum that does not stop even after the cycle is done. It is constant hum for a good hour +. Hard to explain to guests or to ignore as it's so loud. I wouldn't recommend this dishwasher to anyone. I used to own a whirlpool that I took for granted and will probably have to replace shortly this one shortly after we've gotten our moneys worth out of it. Quite sad as it was an expensive and beautiful unit.

1 Poor quality

Bought this brand new for my wife for Christmas the soap dispenser broke just after warranty and has been sitting ever since would not recommend unless you get a lifetime replacement coverage of the dispenser. Its made with a poor cheap plastic gear with a plastic shaft that wears out quickly and the dispenser is 200$ do not buy this its not a one off issue its a manufacturer designed defect.

1 New House & An $800 worthless Samsung Dishwasher

We purchased a house 11 months ago, the house was built from the foundation up, and included all new appliances that are all Samsung, with the exception of the refrigerator, washer and dryer, which I purchased separately and wanted everything to match, so I also purchased Samsung products. Overall I’m happy with everything with the exception of this dishwasher model number DW80N3030 US. From the first time we used it brand new I knew that I hated it, because it just does not clean no matter how you stack the dishes. I’ve even run through the dishwasher cleaners on normal cycle as dictated in order to see if there was maybe a film that was causing the problem of filmy and filthy dishes. I am going to review my records to see if this piece of trash is under warranty because why spend that type of money on a product that does not work as it should, it’s fraudulent advertising and needs to be corrected, I absolutely do not recommend this product. See pictures of my freshly washed dishes. Would you like a glass or cup of anything from these?

1 fail to work at first time

We bought a new house with this Samsung dishwasher. On the inspection day, the builder tested it, and it was working. However, when I tried to use it for the first time after we moved in, it won't work. So the builder sent an electrician and tried to fix it. The answer is it needs to be replaced with a new one, even though I never really use it! I contact the Trail Appliances who has the contract with the builder. They tried to contact Samsung for a few days but still have no response. I wish I can return the dishwasher and buy a better German brand. has no faith in Samsung.
